Forum:IllogiMusic. Anyone willing?
I've been thinking that we could have an IllogiBand type thing. Someone who's willing to put their voice on Illogicopedia could record IllogiSongs for the site. That wouldn't be me because sadly, I am MUCH younger than you think I am. (You can try to guess but I'm kinda embarrassed about it because I hate being as young as I am. Here's a hint: There's a hint in my article: Childhood Realizations and BTW my b-day's soon so that should help. And BTW: If you actually waste your time looking that up than... wow...) Anyhoozle, if someone willing to record that would do it that would be awesome. Also, I am, hate to sound like a jerk but, amazing at writing lyrics. I've written comedy rap songs in 15 minutes that are better than Soulja Boy's lyrics, wait that's not hard.
A little section of recommendations and crap[edit source]
- 1. If you have a band then good for you and get them to record a song. You can write it or not. I'll be writing tons of songs this week for everyone to use. Also, Audacity is a great program to use for editing.
- 2.If you're like most people and don't have a band than you have two options:
- If you have a Macintosh, then just use GarageBand. Simple.
- If you're not
Justin Longa fag and have Windows (FTW) than you can download Mixcraft 4.2. It's technically $70 bucks but if you search on YourTube there are tons of ways to get it for, how you say, free.
- 3.This it's not wrong like the Mixcraft one (which is A LOT better than this and Mixcraft is definitely worth $70) is to go on JamStudio.com. Normally, in order to export your songs you need to pay $10 but is you download then open on Audacity and go onto My Computer and change the recording input to something like "Intergrated ____ array". It depends. But do that then press record on Audacity and then play the song on the site then put your voice over it. That's how I recorded T.O.M.G.S.A's podcast but I used Speakonia instead of JamStudio.
- 4.By far the most expensive but the money can be used for other things. Buy a Dazzle capture card ($90) and AV spitters ($20) and you need an XBOX360/PS3 and the game Guitar Hero World Tour. Hook up the capture card, and make a song on GHWT and record it and convert it to audio using the same method as above. In my opinion (since I've got a Cap Card) is that this is the most worthwhile method because there's so much you can do with a capture card like I make game montages for MyTube and tutorials and crap.
So. I know this is a wall of text but someone please consider it, imagine "The Fnurdle Song" or "Cheese: The Rap". All of my lyrical writings will be here. Check frequently because writing songs is something I like to do when I'm bored. Yeah so someone do it because it took me about twenty+ minutes to make this post so yeah. DO IT! --T3 21:20, 3 Aym 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, Macs are good too! I wouldn't buy one personally, like... but they aren't all that bad. Having said that I hate those one-button mice they package in with some of their computers.
- Seriously though, I know RFK plays the drums a bit - I saw it on his blog. Testicles once told me was learning to play the guitar, and I'm sure Seppy can too, though he doesn't have a microphone last time I asked. DarkGenome used to be in a band but it broke up over a year ago - he is awesome on harmonica. As for me, I think there's a bass knocking around here somewhere but I usually end up using the bottom four strings on my guitar... heheh.
- If anyone can think of some cool lyrics for the Fnurdle Song (See Illogicast #1) then I might record them for the forthcoming podcast if I have time, can be bothered etc.
- Can you give us a link for your game montages, T3? -- Hindleyak Converse • ?blog • Click here! 11:02, 4 Aym 2009 (UTC)
- First: I already made the "Fnurdle Song" though it's technically a rap.
- Second: Anyone with a mic and a computer can make one. Psst... method number 3..
- Third: I'll be writing more lyrics in the near future so any future contributors check the page I linked above frequently!
- Fourth: Well there are two accounts I make game videos on. One is for Skate 1/Skate 2 vids and the other I made a week and a half ago is for Elder Scrolls Oblivion vids.
