hey, what's up with all the images? they're not displaying, like there's no actual image, just a red link. like this page. i don't know what happened. i looked at the deletion log too, and no images were deleted. (the school wi-fi is acting up again (of course) and stuff takes forever to load, plus i'm using my iPad) my question is - is stuff actually messed up, or is it just me? ♡80gallonsofgas♡river talk♡contribs♡ 15:04, 29 Arply 2019 (UTC)
- First of all, school Wi-Fi is best experienced with a VPN.
- Second of all, Illogicopedia is best experienced with a computer; the mobile version is t e r r i b l e. If you can only access it on a mobile device, scroll to the very bottom of the Main Page. There, you will see two links that say Privacy and Desktop. Tap Desktop to enable a rendering of the page that would be identical to how it would be seen on a regular computer, which would enable you to navigate the website more freely.
- Third of all, there might be some links and pages that have been adversely affected by our recent MediaWiki update. We have a forum dedicated to pointing out these issues to our sysadmin, so I think it would be best if you brought up this issue over there.
- Fourth of all, sjink.

- It's not just you, 80Gallons. It's been happening to me too, and I first noticed it when I was creating Template:SCP-userbox and the image of a dead cat wouldn't load. It's not a mobile thing, I've been using a laptop, but it might be a school Wi-Fi thing. I primarily use a school-issued Chromebook which comes with the iBossConnect extension
enforcedpre-installed. This means that my school's Wi-Fi rules are enforced even when outside school grounds. It very much could be the reason for this bug. Kow Tow to Mao (talk) 02:42, 30 Arply 2019 (UTC)- @2+2=5 - i actually have been using the desktop version. i just don't have a VPN(i'll explain at the end of this). plus, i just didn't realize the other forum was for that (i never really looked at it, lame excuse tho). @Mao - it probably is the school wi-fi. there's a visitor network that "could" fix it, but it's about as fast as dial-up. we have a "device manager" (kinda like the iBoss thing) but i don't think it would affect the images displaying. (we get macbooks next year, idk) (about the VPN - i do have one, but it's on a diskette drive that hooks up to a computer, so it couldn't work now) ♡80gallonsofgas♡river talk♡contribs♡ 13:59, 30 Arply 2019 (UTC)
- Can confirm IBOSS does not allow uncyclopedia, illogicopedia, encyclopedia dramatica, and many more. As in images of course. 104.225.183.70 19:14, 20 Octodest 2020 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's like, the funkiest thing. I don't know why they don't allow images. (speaking of encyclopedia dramatica, is their site still down? haven't checked it in a while)
